Despre eveniment
Agriculture is highly dependent on climatic conditions. Of all human activities, it is one of the most vulnerable to the effects of climate change. Global food systems face huge challenges, no doubt, but at the same time they provide us with the opportunity for real change. Improved agricultural practices can help us reduce greenhouse gas emissions, pollution and degradation of soil, water, and air. It can also help us slow the rate of global biodiversity loss and extinction, and to move towards a fairer society with sustainable food systems that can ensure a decent living for farmers.
This event will focus on how we can unlock agriculture’s potential by discussing about sustainable, healthy, resilient and inclusive food systems with our guest speakers:
Logan Strenchock - Co-founder “Cargonomia”, expert on short food supply chains and resilient agricultural systems
Anca Gheorghică - Co-founder “Mai Bine” (NGO) & “Cuib” (bistro), degrowth activist
